BioFleet

BioFleet, a Western Canadian biodiesel market development program, is helping expand the Alberta biodiesel marketplace.

The program provides information, education, workshops, demonstrations, tools and common branding to support the expanded use of biodiesel. Program activities include a first-users incentive and biodiesel workshops.

Running across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, BioFleet is funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada in partnership with the Fraser Basin Council Society, Climate Change Central, Saskatchewan Research Council and the Canadian Canola Growers Association.

Alberta's first BioFleet member, the Canadian Rockies Public Schools District, is the first school district in the province to use biodiesel in its bus fleet.
