Emissions Trading Simulation - 2001Climate Change Central hosted Western Canada's first greenhouse gas emissions trading simulation, Sept. 5-6, 2001, in Calgary. Participants from industry, government and environmental groups experienced a simulated greenhouse gas trading environment. The exercise highlighted many of the challenges and issues that need to be addressed in defining a legally-robust trading agreement.
