Climate Change Central administers the Government of Alberta’s energy efficiency rebate program.

Rolled out in April 2009 by the provincial government, the program encourages Albertans to make environmental upgrades to their home by providing consumer rebates for the following:

The Government of Alberta has committed $36 million over three years to help Albertans reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Many of the rebates are tied to the federal ecoENERGY Retrofit Program, enabling consumers to recoup costs from both programs.
