New website takes action on climate change31/03/2008Climate Change Central has launched a dynamic new website encouraging Albertans to take action on climate change. The website was designed with pro bono help from Karo Group, Western Canada’s only interdisciplinary brand agency. Karo offered design strategy to the Alberta-based non-profit organization to clarify its brand position and redesign its web site. “People feel helpless and overwhelmed about the whole issue of climate change,” says Helen Corbett, Director of Communications, Climate Change Central. “Karo helped us create a dynamic and beautiful website that offers simple, positive steps that anyone can take to make a difference. We are thrilled with the result.” Karo provided over $50,000 worth of design strategy and multidisciplinary creative work to the organization. “We wanted to help Climate Change Central develop a meaningful brand experience for its stakeholders and clients, which could help it attract public support to address one of the most challenging issues we face,” says Karo President, Chris Bedford. - 30 - For further information, contact:
