David Lynch Currently the dean of engineering at the University of Alberta, Lynch has been involved with numerous committees such as the Faculty of Engineering Evaluation and Executive Co-ordinating Committees. He sits on the Alberta Science and Research Authority Board of Management. Lynch has served on the Dean's Council and the Alberta Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists Association (APEGGA) Board of Examiners. He was elected a Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada in 1995.
