Bill Hunter

Mr. Bill Hunter is the President / Owner of Northern Opportunities Facilitation Inc. (NOFI), a consulting service which started in September 2004. NOFI is focused on projects including:

 

  • Northern Economical Development,
  • Bio-based Economy,
  • Environmental Enhancements, 
  • Business planning and mentoring
  • Aboriginal Capacity Building

Mr. Hunter retired as President & COO, Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. in April, 2004 after 13 years with the company, including construction and start up. He had been in the forest industry for 31 years and worked in BC, AB, SK. and Ont.

Mr. Hunter is involved on several related Boards and Committees including:

  • Alberta Science & Research Authority (ASRA) Board
  • Alberta Terrestrial Imaging Corp. (ATIC) Board

  • Alberta Research Council (ARC) - Industry Advisory Committee
